« on: November 02, 2006, 06:24:45 PM »
Hey folks, I need an Amiga 2000 motherboard, needs to be a Revision 4.5, 6.1 or 6.2, so I can use it with a GVP Tekmagic card, Price open to negotiation, Also will buy a system as a whole if the price is right  :-)

hey,

i've got a couple of the tekmagic boards and have since '98;  i've got some experience with these things and can recommend you probably don't want to run one on anything less than a rev 6.x.  i tried running one on a rev 4.3 and the machine wouldn't even boot, even with the "DTACK Pullup Resistor" jumper enabled.

i have a 6.2 or 6.3 motherboard laying around which works but is a little fried... i think one of the CIAs is flaky... i'd be willing to part with it, even in a case & all.

rock on,
