Toaster 2000, 040, 18 MB
« on: November 01, 2006, 11:14:06 PM »
I am looking for some honest feedback here. What do you think a Toaster 2000 is worth having an 040 card with ram that is 10% faster than an 040 4000. It has a decked out retina card as well as a 8-up ram board, 2090 hd with hard drive.

Just wondering

I just figured it would be nice to offer a complete system so someone would not have to reinstall everything. It works well -- would someone not be willing to take advantage of that?

This is not a system I would like to canabalise.

If anyone would like a complete system, I'd prefer them to get it.

I recently sold an A3000 with just 14MB of Ram for US$405 on ebay. Do you really think I would only get US$400 for a complete toaster system?

The issue is that its a Toaster 2000 not a 4000 system it is not as flexible as the newer 4000 version. ebay is your best bet to try to get a good price.
