Ja, I enjoyed it a lot, and I would have enjoyed it even more if I didn't have so much real-life gore experience.
But...there are crucial references to events that took place in Saw I and II, so you shouldn't make number III your first one.
Overall, the original Saw was the best, closely followed by this one. Number II wasn't so good because they made a very bad casting decision with the guy they tried to palm off as a force to be reckoned with, as an antagonist to the evil guy. (Yeah it sounds silly but I can't really describe how they made the casting mistake without giving away the plot).
My advice is to see the original Saw and then decide if you want to see the other two, with the knowledge that number II is going to be a minor let-down and number III is really meaty.
