@DonnyEMU:
I don't see what this has to do with in or out of the USA? (Magnetic is in NYC) Are you saying people outside the USA are dishonest or problematic or have problems with English? What are you saying?
I've had transactions inside and outside the US, and never had a problem either way. And frankly most of the complaints seem to be on the US eBay. Looking at other eBays I see Frenchies and Germans and Brits exchanging with very little trickery and problems. Perhaps it's just my faulty memory or my brain's stats cells that are failing, but that's just how I remember it. Ok, I know this was just a hunch on my part, so for fun I did a little test:
1) went to ebay.com (US) and searched for "amiga computer" (subject and content), and narrowed it down to USA only, display size was 100 results
2) went to ebay.co.uk (United Kingdom) and searched for "amiga computer" (subject and content), and narrowed it down to EU only, display size was 100 results
Totals:
1) lowest score was 95.6%, 10x100% 55x99% 12x98% and the rest below
2) lowest score was 98.0%, 53x100% 34x99% 13x98% and no more below
Now before you jump onto any conclusions: this is by far not scientific, simply because many times a dealer with let's say 100% will have 10 items listed in a row. It was also done on a 'snapshot' of the metadata. A true study would use much larger sample sets and would filter/smooth high frequency coefficients. I just did it for fun, even though I have a hunch that overall we have more scum online on this side of the pond. Possibly because eBay has been around longer in the US and has had more penetration and more users. Or other reasons that I do not fully comprehend but have a gut feeling for. Alas, I'm sure eBay knows the numbers though! Would be fun to know

Cheers and good luck buying and selling stuff guys!
