I work for Social Services, and one of my colleagues maintain's the county Child Protection register. He told me that people get really angry if you bandy the term 'nonce' around...strange that, as I'm sure I've heard the same people using the words 'sicko', 'pervert', etc.
[These are people who actually get to hear the details of what people put on the register have actually done, so its not THAT surprising!]
Oh, perhaps I should get on topic...another user I miss is Bjjones - he wasn't and old timer, but a guy who was capable of really thoughtful and intelligent conversation.
