I had one Algor user recently where cleaning the Zorro Connectors helped a great deal. Did you get any error messages while flashing the bootloader or contents (e.g. you could try flashing a kickrom without AlgorKick, so it wouldn't do anything)?

The Algor was tested a lot with the 2040, so there shouldn't be a problem with this particular turboboard.

I dont know if the Algor works in a similar way that
the eFlash4000 does but to get the eFlash4000 to work
yoou have to modify the Setpatch command in your
startup-sequence. Hope this helps.

Well, the connectors were cleaned recently, and as the board works normaly except for the flashrom part, i think it is ok.

I don't get errors when i reflash the bootloader, it seems to work properly and immediatly. I have removed all content from the flashrom, but still have the trouble.

Maybe i should just trade it for a Highway.

Hello CLS old chap :)

The PSU seems good to me. The SCSI HD, CD Burner and Jaz are powered by their own PSU in an external tower, so the 2000 PSU has only to take care of the boards inside.

PS: have you seen my HD floppy question on amigaimpact.org?
