amiga 1200 casing mod

i was wondering whether someone could possibly drill some holes in the amiga 1200 plastic casing. thanks in advanced.

I'm sure there's a 1001 people that could drill lots of nice little holes into your amiga, but you might want to give some more information on where the holes are going and what there for! and where your located!
Specs:
A1200PT, mediator c/w voodoo 3 2000, sb128, 60G HDD,OS3.9,LITEON CDR, nec 4x4 changer,External Scan Doubler,Cocolino adapter,PS2 keyboard adaptor.

Morphos 2.6, mini mac g4 @ 1.25ghz.

Buy a drill. If you have to have one hole, you will want more in the future. Something I learned the hard way... EXCELSIOR!
CD TV / Remote / Trackball Remote / Keyboard / CDTV 1411 External Drive / C= 1405 256K RAM / Smell the fear!

yep  :-D thats 110% right, there is only one way to learn, the hard way..  8-)

The 2 last mods I have made "on plastic" for my A500 (I have done a lot on my 2K & 4K (D,T)'s

hi, thanks for the replies. i am from south west of england. i need holes for the blizzardvision monitor socket, and one to thread some cables through - both at the back of the a1200. it is for my a1200ppc in a desktop projeck! can someone help me out, i am crud with a drill. many thanks

Nice Mod!

But what the heck are they?  whats the 2 round black holes for?  Speakers?  and the rectangle cut?  LCD display?




EDIT:   Nevermind!  I just saw your webpage..........I would have put Shielded speakers in there to make a Portable A500 BoomBox :-)

That tool looks like it will destroy the plastic into shreads! ... It must be spinning realllllly fast and have small tiny teeth?
CD32 is actually the best Amiga ever made by Commodore!...

Lets see the LCD fired up! I would assume you are using it for MHz or maybe the LFO? Check out the links at 'hakker's site above. Holy cow you have some nice pics... hakker do you still own all that equipment? Looks like you had a direct line to a C= warehouse.

Yes I ones it all :-)

About the A500 mods yes, I will show some pictures when is fired up, but it not going to be befor after Christmas  :-( there is still a lot of work and to little time, but basic I hope to get it up and running on/with a PIC, there controls "minors"   :-D  hacks..

And I want to say, thanks my friend (amiga.org user) Brian for great ideas and support :eureka:
