2 A4000's for free
« on: September 18, 2006, 11:24:50 PM »
Hi there,

I have two A4000's that need to go. Both '030 and suffering from battery leakage. I honestly have no clue if they'll work, but they're free and might be usefull for components.

You're free to pick them up; I live in the Netherlands. If you're not able to come round but still interested: I won't be spending any money on sending them abroad, but we might be able to arrange something.

I really don't want to throw them away, so pm me if you're interested. I'll post the details of the A4000's later this week (when I'm back at my previous home).

Yes please do not throw away!  Someone will take them off your hands, even if they have to pay shipping.

Glad you mentioned you were in The Netherlands - P&P to Vulcan would have sucked.

... but it would probably still be cheaper than getting anything of that size shipped from Europe to New Zealand!  :-D

First of all I'd like to thank everyone showing interest and PM'ing me. I'll answer you all, but...I'm kinda short on time atm :-| I'm afraid it won't be untill sunday before I can have a look at the A4000's.

Second, I got quite a few PM's from people outside The Netherlands...but even more from people living close by (and I always thought I was the only amiga user in the neighbourhood ;-) ) Since I rather have someone pick them  up instead of me having to haul them to the postal office, they'll be first in line. You might change my mind by offering me a ludicrous amount of money though :-P

Anyway, stay tuned, I'll post again when I have some more info on the state they're in.
