Anyone know if this card would work in a Prometheus? Would the Voodoo 3000 drivers be ok?

I just tried to get a Voodoo 4 4500 working in a Mediator without success.  The Voodoo 3 card works fine, but with the 4500 I just get a wavy blank screen.  Tried reinstalling Picasso96 following the same steps, but still the same result.  Has anyone been able to get any Voodoo card besides the 3500 working in an Amiga?  I'm stumped..
Primary:
A4000T. Phase5 PPC604e-233mhz/060-66mhz. Mediator, Z3 Fastlane, Voodoo5, Delfina, X-Surf, AD516, Peggy Plus.

Collection:
A4000D, A1200, A500, Milan060 (Atari clone), Atari MegaSTE, Atari TT030, C64, C128, Mattel Aquarius, (2) HP Jornada....

Have had a Voodoo 5500 card in bth my A4000 and A1200 until recently because it started to die.
Should be any problems when installed with the Elbox Multimedia cd on Mediator board and then running Mediconfig to setup the env variables

Voodoo 4500 works OK in Prometheus, but it's worse than 3000 because the 2D hw acceleration doesn't work (at least wholly) as it's written to 3000. So 2D is much slower on +8bit modes - the first thing to notice is slow scrolling. 3D works about equally fast on both cards - have made comparisons and then packed 4500 away to collect dust.

I have a Voodoo 5500 running fine with a Mediator Z4, but it won't run alongside my Picasso IV. Something about timing Elbox reckoned.

Dang. Another bright "smart" purchase from 18months ago goes west ;-)

I also bought a Voodoo 3000, except whilst the manual was for a 3000, the card isn't. I'm not sure what it is, but it sure as hell isn't a 3000!

No probs on Prometheus, Voodoo+PIV (and even CVPPC doing nothing) work OK.
