Q2 assign????

I have a copy of Quake2 demo for my PC and have found a port for the amiga "QUAKE2 Port v0.5 (W3D PPC)"

So the instructions for the post where in german and I got a translator to translate(duh) and this was the result:

Copy QUAKE2 file please in drawer BASEQ2 and a BASEQ2: produce assign.  

Per Shell with:  

stuck 1000000 QUAKE2

Open QUAKE2.  

HP: if the screen grey remain should set please the gl_fashions in the file config. cfg on zero (set gl_fashion „0")

In FastFileSystem set the Buffer on 1500

But i'm kind stuck on the assign part "BASEQ2: produce assign." so any help would be great
