Coming to the err...UK!
« on: August 04, 2006, 03:24:01 PM »
Yes thats right, by this time next year there is a good chance I will be in the UK on a photographic tour of Scotland, however, this greatly depends on my ability to secure time off from work to take said tour. Plans are to stop in several major UK cities before I arrive in Edinburgh, so ummm, yeah, all your brits had better be ready for my arrivial, I'm looking at you Mr. Karlos and you Mr. X-ray :-D

And there's lil' ol' me in Kent!

I'd be happy to show you around - apart from four years in London and a year in Manchester, I've lived here all my life...

You'd love Canterbury (and the truly awe-inspiring cathedral), Rochester (also with cathedral), Tenterden, some of the beautiful old coastal towns, the castles...the list goes on!

@cecilia

Yes there are many more I could have mentioned, and almost certainly plan on contacting once in the UK, I just wanted to keep it short and sweet :-)

@bloodline

There most certainly are :-D

@Cyberus

Sounds awesome, I'm sure I'll get plenty of nice shots :-)

@Karlos

Indeed it does, speaking of curry, I had my own little curry night last night :-D

Scouserpool has lots of...... erm...... "Culture" apparently.

I will say that it has plenty of what I can only describe as umpah-lumpah women.

Short, fat, and bright orange, with an unintelligable high pitched method of communication. ;-)

Well the offer's there, it's not just an idle gesture. I'd certainly like to see more of what's on my doorstep again myself (its very easy not to visit the attractions nearby when you live somewhere!); some of it I last saw when I was a kid about twenty years ago. The only thing is, I couldn't put you up, unless you mind a sofa/the floor...?

P.S. A very good way to save money when travelling (as I'm sure you already know) is to try and stay with people. Its hotels/hostels etc that always make a holiday expensive!!

@ Adz

Well my mate if you get over here there will certainly be a meet up. Ja...
Of course, that assumes I am not in Oz by then. I have been making plans, you see. Might jump ship. I have recently been granted accreditation with the Aussie and Kiwi professional boards and so I am allowed to practise there. That will go ahead unless there is a need for my services in forensics.

Keep us posted old bean.

Hi adz,

I'd certainly like to hook up when you arrive in bonnie Scotland. Might be able to suggest some nice photo locations too.
