I recently aquired an A2000 with 2500 specs (2091 scsi card, HD, 020 board, thanks doomy!) but it didn't have a CDROM. I assume that just about any old 50pin scsi drive would work, is that correct? The only problem is, I am running WB1.3 and it seems rather... limited. Either that, or I just don't know what I am doing. Probably the latter. Today I cannibalized 3 Macs and scored [BRAG] 2 scsi cdroms, one being older with a caddy, two scsi hard drives, one 4.5gig but don't know about the other, 2 68040 processors at 25mhz and 33mhz (not EC either!), and a 350mhz PPC daughtercard. Not too bad for $5, huh? [/BRAG] Will any of these cdroms work for sure, and can I get them to work in WB1.3, and will that 4.5gig be too much for the 2091 card? Thanks, and sorry for the long, rambling post.
