I'm expecting delivery this week - I'll tell you when I get it.
Difficult to tell form the pic, but it appears to have an ethernet card, an IO extender card and - 50/50 whether the middle one is a graphics card or a serial card.

If the ethernet card works I'll be happy with the amount I paid.

If it's a graphics card in the middle I'll be VERY happy.

If there's a turbocard in there I'll be ecstatic.

Middle card looks like the extra serial from the card below (MFCIII/IOExtender).  It's the wrong gender for VGA, and it looks like it has too few pins.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(

Yes I thought it looked like a serial port, although it is difficult to be sure due to the graininess of the picture.
Seemed odd that there would be an extra DB9 serial port there with there being an IO extender already installed (the MF3 has only 1 DB9 - it has a DB25 serial, and DB25 parallel in addition).

Tantalisingly, the blanking plate is similar to a CV64 3d without the scandoubler module, althoguh that would be hoping for a little too much.

I'll find out when it arrives.

Probably shouldn't say this but I USED to own a Cybervision 64/3D. It didn't have a scan doubler module. And I remember it looking rather similar to that. For it do be an IO extender it would have to be a dual serial with a missing port. I think it's more likely that it's a Cybervision.

Bet you wish you won it the first time. 50 quid! I know I do!

I saw an a3000 go for £65 on ebay a couple of months back, no expansion cards though. Still I really wish I had gone for it.

Yeah I noticed the previous listing :-( - there's one ebayer out there who missed out on a (hopefully) bargain.

It was an impulse purchase - I just happened to turn the laptop on that morning, looked at ebay and - oooh, A3000 finishing in 5 minutes....

Too tempting :-P

Well, it was a GVP IOextender with an addtional serial port.  The ethernet-type-thing is a stripped down Lola video options card with only a weird single output.
There is no accelerator (that was hoping too much) but it does have Infochannel installed, with the dongle in the case.

It's a beauty - Rev 9 motherboard in perfect nick, 8MB zip rams installed, 2 mb chip.
DMAC 2, Ramsay 4, Super Buster 7, Fat GAry 2, stock hard drive and HD floppy - fresh from the Commodore factory.
It's missing 2 screws in total - not bad for being 17 years old.
Totally covered in dust, have cleaned it out nicely.  The battery is just starting to decay, so I'll be removing that (and replacing it) in the next few days.
Everything is in perfect condition - there is barely a scratch on the case.
It seems to have come from NTL cambridge judging by the Infochannel recordings.  There's nothing else on the hard drive - just the OS and Scala.

I'd have liked a NIC, but I'm happy with the purchase - I've got Super Buster 9, and Ramsay 7 on a dead 4000 motherboard so will probably de-solder them and put them into the 3000.  Anyone know where to get DMAC v4?

I've got a CSmk2+scsi waiting to go in this machine.

btw - 3.1 roms for the a3000 - are they compatible with any other version, eg a4000?
