Picasso96 2.0 is newest available version for Mediator - have you checked Aminet? (ok.. http://main.aminet.net/gfx/board/Picasso96.lha, here it is  ). However, there is 2.1b floating somewhere too, but since there were some legalitity issues with Elbox/Picasso-team, it was put available only for Prometheus-users.

that v2.0 picasso96 does not have a mediator option, must I make the lame trick of the above guide-site, choose cybervision???
also what if I install the prometheus 2.1b archive and do the above trick???
it sucks, why not have a normal installation like cgx3/4 for g-rex??

Because Elbox hacked the UAEGFX P96 driver or summat, and haven't paid the P96 guys to have their driver bundled with the installer.

Look at the guide at the site linked... it tells rather thouroughly how to install the drivers.

Though, I _HIGHLY_ recommend trying to obtain the v2.1b package of Picasso96 since its newer emulation.library and picasso96api.library solves some critical issues.
Amiga 1200, Mirage Tower, PC-Key 1200, Blizzard 1260/50, SCSI Kit, 256MB RAM, 40GB HD, Mediator SX, Soundblaster 128, Voodoo 3 and Realtek 8139.
