Ramlib_PPC BIG Trouble. Pls Help!
« on: May 07, 2003, 06:24:04 PM »
Hi

I have an 1200 PPC Mediator voodoo 3 3000, 96 fast with the latest MMCD and MediatorUP update, and all the W3D stuff I try to work executes a WarpOS exception at RAMLIB_PPC.

I dunno how to configure my WarpOS.(The WarpOS installed is theone that comes with 3.9  and the W3D is the one provided by mailing Elbox wich is special  for mediator I think)

AnyOne can helpme pls?

Have you tried the "ramlibpatch" thing that comes with OS3.9?

On the CD somewhere. If you have installed WarpOS, then I guess it´s in one of the drawers that it creates.

Afaik the mcpramlibpatch should not be needed with 3.9, or am I wrong?

Anyway, why use ramlib_ppc? I installed os3.9 and as far as I can see it is very happy using the m68k version.

I doubt you will get an incredible speed increase from using the ppc version, anyway.

Or is the ramlib_ppc something warpup-specific and not to be confused with the regular ramlib?

Sincerely,

-Kenneth Straarup.

There is a very simple solution!
Download the MMU Library package
from Aminet, install, and it will
work!
.\\\\ Spot / Up Rough Soundsystem //.
