A3640 PAL U209 Rev -03
« on: July 11, 2006, 09:28:19 AM »
I've done "cut-n-jumper" modifications to A3640 CPU cards this week for other people. Converting their 3.0 cards into a "half way to 3.1" cards. (At the same time fixing any Capacitor polarity issues).

I would like to provide some replacement U209-03 PALS also to convert them to true 3.2

Anyone either got some already programmed to -03, or some blank ones they could sell me programmed to -03?

At the very least can someone provide me with the A4KPALS.LHA archive (refered to in the definitive buster guide) which contains the PAL binaries?

Are these any use to you ?( rev 0+2 A3640 plds from the Dave Haynie archive)

Edit:
found a nice little collection of 3640 pld's with the help of archive.org,
Saved them here, I think the one you need is part 391472.03

Ta very much.

All I need now is someone who can program them for me...

We might have a programmer here at work, I'll look around the office and see if we have any adapters.

I think they are 28-pin PLCC 22V10 PAL/GAL's? Anyone confirm?

If I make up 10 does anyone want any?

Would anyone in the UK want their 3.0 boards converted into 3.2 boards? (For a nominal fee).

I bought a PLD programmer from Ebay a while back, if you have a Chinese->UK mains adapter and can read the Chinese instructions you're welcome to borrow it !

The bctl.pld says it's 22V10, too. The schematics from Dave's archive reads '22V10-10'.

Depending on the price, I'd say I take one. (5-6 EUR?)

Segor Germany charges 9 EUR :-o for the first and 2 EUR for subsequent programs - their prices had been very fair but went up some time ago.
