Miami Deluxe
« on: July 08, 2006, 08:48:20 PM »
I found a copy of Miami Deluxe (I believe it is a demo version, but have not yet tried to install it) on an old CD-ROM from amigactive magazine (no longer in publication).

I am curious if there is still a way to register it if it is a demo?

Thanks,

No, you can't register anymore. There are (pirate) keyfiles floating around; you might find a link when searching for related threads. I leave the ethical debate about such files being distributed when it's impossible to legally obtain them to others ;-)

Try in the main Miami dir or in ENV: somewhere (sys or Miami if there's one there).

No harm in copying it to different places and giving it a go.

In Miami's case in Miami: assign. Usually keyfiles go to S:, Progdir: (program's own directory) or sometimes in L:
Docs should explain and if not, progdir is good place to start :)
