...you must re-flash your BPPC firmware again, it does not matter if it is already flashed in the past with the latest firmware, u must reflash it!!!

I got today my rev2 g-rex with the 2 DMA slots, and I thought I should just replace the g-rexes and nothing else... wrong, until I reflash the bppc (thank god I thought of that) there was no output from the voodoo3, eventhough it show on the PCI menu... strange eh? unless the addresses whrere different betwenn the 2 g-rex versions...

Thought u should know...  :-D  :-)

Perhaps you've had the old Grex flash (1.3) in you BPPC firmware and then you updated to ver 2.2?

Who upgraded your G-Rex? Did you send it to DCE?

No, he bought another one which is a 2-DMA-slots version.

no no, I remember I had flashed to v2.2 before I used the older g-rex... maybe it stores some bindings or whatever in eprom, who knows...?
maybe DJBASE will enlighten us...  :-)

That's weird. :-? I'm thinking it was probably some sort of a glitch, but who knows.
