More video scalers from Cypress
« on: June 26, 2006, 05:15:43 PM »
Cypress makes another RGBs scaler, the Cypress CM-347ST,  with more features than the CM-345S.

Has anyone used one of these with an Amiga?  There's also a version with DVI out (CM-348ST).

Thanks,
Bubba

i am not sure they would be that great tho since you would have to use compsite as in signal delivers alot of colour bleed

*edit* so better off with those scan doubblers

This box takes  RGB with separate sync via a scart-to-mindin cable which is included in the EU version of this product.   The DVI version (348ST)  is intriguing since it avoids a Digital-to-Analog conversion; it should have better output quality than the 347ST.
