Question about Amiga 3000

Can an Amiga 3000 run OS 3.9 ok?
I think it has 8meg ram

If it has 3.1 ROM chips inside then it can.  If it has an earlier version you will need to upgrade the ROMs.

Another 3000 question. Were most of the units 25mhz or 16 stock?
I just purchased one but havent recieved it yet and was just curious.

The wikipedia said 16s werent out that long.

The 16 MHz Version is quite rare. I haven't seen one in my live. Maybe they didn't make it to Europe and are more common in the US.

I sold one in '91, but given the price / performance difference most ppl did it right and took the /25.  :-)
