Hello all again:
I am considering modding or creating my own tower case for my A1200 allowing for a Mediator card and boy do I have an interesting couple of ideas :-)
I have looked at the D-BOX and Revanche LLC case offerings. The Revanche LLC cases are nice and they do allow for complete customization, but I think I want to do this for a bit less money and feel if I can find someone with a flowjet machine or whatnot, it will be a lot less expensive, because really it is just the back plane that needs re-designed to acomodate the A1200.
I would love to give the case a cool paintjob as well... perhaps some form of the boing ball on it in bright automotive finish.
Anyhow, the main stumbling block for me is the actual diminsions of the backplane... the cutouts for the A1200 ports are fairly easy, but not sure of the measurement between the mainboard and where the mediator board would sit to place the slots for the cards.
@amigakit
I notice that the keyboard adapter for the A1200 PC-104 is a full size AT DIN connector. Are there any plans to offer this with a PS/2 Style connector in the future? Would I simply be able to add this myself?
Anyhow, if anyone has diminsions they'd share, I would be most appreciative.
Thanks,
