Only two working computers in the house
« on: June 11, 2006, 11:10:37 PM »
Hi everyone,

My computer is dead and the only two computers I can use is my Amiga 500 and my dad's Dell computer here. I don't get to use my dad's computer much. I don't have the money to buy a new computer right now. All I want to be able to do right now is send/recieve email via PPP and POP3/SMTP.
I have an external modem for my A500 and dial up internet service, is there any software on Aminet that someone could reccomend that I could use on my A500 to connect to the internet and just send/recieve emails?

Thanks,

Josh

Do you have a harddrive connected to it which you're booting from?

If so, do you have mui installed?

If that's the case then 'miami' for the commection and 'Yam' for the email.

If you don't have a harddrive and have to boot with floppies I bet someone else can give you better hints than me. It's been so long since I ran an amiga without a harddrive so I've more or less forgotten how to! ;)
