No, just the leader of the BNP thats all.

That only proves that the welsh are very tolerant people, Nick Griffin is a patriotic english man, but we still allow him to prosper in wales.

I lived in North Wales for 6 months in 2001, from my experience the Welsh are not tolerant of English people whatsoever.  The ones I lived amongst hated English people.

I spent a week in Dolgellau in 2004 and can vouch for that. The North Welsh are occasionally very intolerant of the English to the point of violence.

Sweden can't even beat Trinidad & Tobago.

Now that was a really frustrating game. And please mr coach, let Källström play from the start for once!

I sat down and watched that game with a very unhappy Swedish girl, who had some choice words to say post match.

Still, Trinidad and Tobago put on a very plucky performance despite being the underdogs.  Luck was simply not on Sweden's side during the game.

Will you be hoping England lose all their games?

Not really. Aside from the fact that they've already won the first one, I'm not too fussed.
On the other hand, if England losing means I get another chance to laugh at the brain-dead numbnutz that is Ian Wright, whining like a spoiled child, then I'm all for it.
Or there's always Clive Tilsley. He never tires of xenophobically slagging whoever England are playing.
In fact, if all England's games were broadcast without any partisan commentators, I might even want them to win. ;-)

I also feel sorry for whoever takes the blame this time round.
Just had a thought, why don't we run a sweep:
Who will carry the can when England get knocked out?
There are a couple of obvious candidates in Rooney & Eriksson but it could be anyone.

My money is on Michael Owen the useless waste of feckin space that he is, or Captain Metrosexual himself.

I'm not really into footbal in a big way (any of its codes), but I did enjoy watching the end of a game last night.  Got out of bed for a drink, and watched the last 8 minutes of the Australia-Japan game go from 0-1 to 3-1.  Well, that was fun.

I do get extremely tired of all the jingoism though (not just in sport, either).  At least the football broadcaster here is the station with a lot of international employees: they're a lot lighter with the xenophobia.

Good good study, day day up!

Australia beat American Samoa 31-0 (Thirty One - Zero) during WC pre-qualification in 2001.

What is the final score if Brazil face American Samoa team?

31-0???  I don't think you could lose that badly if you didn't play.

Chavball, that's hilarious

I for one am fed up of hearing about it. All day long at work, all I hear about is football. And it's not just while the world cup is on, it's all through the year. Every year. Every day. All day.

Not that Eyso is doing anything to dispel the sterotype of gay men not liking football. ;-)
