A4000T speaker noise
« on: April 27, 2006, 12:02:09 PM »
Sometimes internal speaker in A4000T starts to 'play' cracking noise, it souds as if the connection is bad but I've checked the cables and soldering and they're OK. what could it be?
Better sorry than worry.

Leaky capacitors? Castellen's excellent website might be able to help you. It has helped me getting my A4kD up and running before =).

Actually I repaired an A4000T a couple of years back with a similar problem and it was leaking capacitors on the audio/video module.

That's not to say it's going to be the same in your case, but fairly likely....
