Datakompaniet too SLOW with A1XE-delivering!!!

I'm starting to get really tired of how Datakompaniet performs their business! Even the first 4 customers who are supposed to get A1XE-boards by the first shipment from Datakompaniet, have STILL not got their boards! This is too bad...

After the AmigaOne, i won't order products from Datakompaniet anymore..Then i will look for more potensial dealers, just like Gunne...

Sad, but true... :-(

Are you sure its Datakompaniets fault?? Can aswell be eyetech who havent sendt out the boards yet...  Eyetech has done this before..... Send them a mail, ask why they didnt ship them yet.... im sure its not their fault.
I personally have had no problems with datakompaniet before.

I actually heard something else from Kay. Gunne got all the 10 boards, splitted them to 4 and sent them to Datakompaniet, but Datakompaniet still hasn't got the boards..Also Datakompaniet was unwilling to get in all the 10 boards, and they did not order them directly from Datakompaniet, which would have speeded up delivering and being a bit cheaper..

Some years ago, at least, datakompagniet was a great dealer as far as i am concerned. I doubt they have deliberately delayed the boards just to annoy you.

I think you should re-think you idea about disregarding them after receiving the a1 - it would be a shame to see them shut down their business, imo.

i stopped shopping at datakompaniet.no a long time ago, only the last times i have ordered there its because of they have it in stock or because of user guidance.

they are very good at helping, but since they aint really aMIGA only people anymore means they wont take the risks they have done before, thats why the mediator + the mmcd was my last deal at datakompaniet.

as an addon note, the mmcd was supposedly to be in stock when i bought it and the mediator, the mediator took 3 weeks to come to me and the mmcd took an amazing 6 months to arrive (yeS Its really amazing, pissed me off.....seriously)

so all hw and sw i buy from uk or germany now normally, its a shame but that deal made me choose other ways, its sad but thats how important the customers are.

anyway datakompaniet explained to me it was elBox's fault, but then again they said it was in STock , and it wasnt, hence i could have bought it all directly from elbox at a cheaper price and had'nt have to wait over 7 months in total from day 1 on orderinga,  normally when i order from elbox it takes 8 days..and all i buy comes in 1 package...

also thats why i bought my a1xe from eyetech and not datakompaniet..

I'm sure they are not meant to anoy people but their business-plan really sucks...

If i cancel the order now, just to let Eyetech deliver the board directly to me, i would be the LAST one to get the board, and i don't want to risk waiting another 6 months or so...I better get stick to my order...I only have to push the responsible companies into delivering faster..

This is all very simple ...

Norway is outside the EU and it is quite expencive to have marginal products like amiga-stuff sent here. Only way to cut the cost is to make sure the number of items in a shipment is big, only way to get it big is to await for enough customers to order, and again this is amiga, so it doesnt happen quickly.

So, please, if you want stuff ASAP, order it from Germany, UK or Poland or where-ever yourself, but dont be shocked by the price you have to pay in terms of package, transport and customs.   ;-)
