Multisync monitors and the amiga..

I understand that the Amiga can use Multisync monitors, but can it use `any` multisync?..
Ive had my eyes on this little beauty (at least i think it is!)
NEC MultiSync LCD1510V
Is this possible to hook up to an amigas rgb video port? :-?

According to the sync rates stated, I seriously doubt it. IF you use a scan doubler/flicker fixer - maybe -> but you may need a graphics card to push this monitor.
In other words, the Amiga can't use just "any" multisync.

Ok. thanks for the confirmation...
Im on the lookout for a nice monitor to use with an aga amiga.. Not gonna be using any graphic card tho.
Guess a good plan is to choose from the list on big book of amiga hardware.. :-)

You would need an external scan doubler/flicker fixer and it should work just fine I have one and have tried several monitors on it including my wifes Dell 17"LCD and it has worked just fine on it. (I am curently using an LG 17" CRT)
You can not just plug any monitor into the Amigas RGB out as the default output for games would be to low a refresh rate (15kHz)for the monitor to work DBL NTSC, DBL Pal would work but like I said It wont work as soon as you try to play any games.
Edit: have a look at
AmigaKit
This scan doubler/flicker fixer works really well as it is what i am using.

The use of the term 'multisyncs' to refer to Amiga monitor compatibility originates with displays that could handle both 15KHz and 31KHz rates - and the very first members of NEC's MultiSync line could. Unfortunately, they kept the product name and did away with the compatibility in the later generations of the product (I think the MultiSync 3D was the last compatible one).
