« on: April 24, 2003, 02:52:45 PM »
Hi!

Please can anyone tell me *in the most exactly way possible* how to configure my WarpOS?

The WarpOS things some runs some not, I usually get a lot os WarpOS exceptions.IE the warp3d demos the only I can run is the 68k ones.

I´m making me crazy.

My setup is AMiGA OS 3.9 BB2, WarpOS 5 (the installation that comes with 3.9) and 1200 PPC 040, Mediator (non sx) voodoo 3 3000, Tv,SB 128, Fast Ethernet.

Man thats a thorny subject. There are two places to
go:

http://www.mediator.co.uk

and the hyperion-support list on yahoo groups.

I remember something about needing to install the right
Warp3d from the right Mediator Update ( the latest one probably has it in aswell ) and also you need to use blizkick
to get the powerpc.library on a warm reset.

I have been through your pain several times already and
Ill see what I can dig out from my frantic pleas on the
support lists.
Hate figure.

Don't install the Warp3D package from Aminet/other sites, only install the one that comes directly from Elbox. If you have installed the wrong one, remove every trace of it.

DaveP:
powerpc.library on a warm reset? :-?

I think you mean BPPCFix, which stops ppc.library from being resident in memory. It can either be started all by it self or used as a module in BlizKick.

I have installed Warp3D form the MMCD, I think this is right.

I have installed BPPCFIX and powerpcemul.library

No, the one on the MMCD isn't the right one either :-D

E-mail Elbox (support@elbox.com) and tell them that you want the Mediator Warp3D-package, and they'll send it to you.
