GREX Problem
« on: April 06, 2006, 05:43:36 PM »
you may have read my earlier post about BlizzPPC fan not spining. First of all let me state this has been by no way a cause of my new GREX. But my query is i cant boot with Voodoo 3 in the grex i can boot with SB128 and network card installed   and view them in the ESC menu under pci. I am almost certian it is a power problem I am supplying power to GREX, a1200 floppy power connector, BlizzPPC (direct were fan normally plugs)Any further suggestions

Is your BPPC card a revision 2? Only this revision is guaranteed to work with Grex. Majority of cards are revision 0, and these may work with Grex, but from my own personal experience, only one in eight actually worked.

If you are supplying power to the BPPC fan connector, make sure it's not 12V but 5V, otherwise you will kill the card or damage it severely.
