A4000T (soon to be) For Sale
« on: April 05, 2006, 04:11:34 PM »
Well, the time has finally come to part with my A4000T.  I'm debating selling in as parts or as a complete system but either way, it will be for sale on eBay very soon.  Before that, I'd like to give users here on AO a chance at the computer.

Before I give the specs, a few general items...  the computer as I originally purchased it was a C= A4000T but over the years I had to replace the mobo (I still have it) and I relocated everything from the original C= tower (I still have it) to an oversized AT type tower that was useful for Video Toaster work (and with a MUCH bigger power supply)

Now the specs:

A4000T
- MacroSystems Warp Engine 4040 with RAM (forget exact amount) with original box, disk and manual
- Multiface III card (with original manual)
- Video Toaster (original box, disks and upgrade CDs)
- Video Flyer (original box and software)
- C= WB3.1 on 3 HD floppies (not the later Escom disks)
- C= A4000T instruction manual (copy)
- 1.88 Chinon FD drive
- C= keyboard (extra long cord for tower use)

I do have several hard drives but I am debating on keeping them for my A3000 so I hesitate to list them at this time.

I also have a huge amount of books (including RKMs), software (to include video, DTP, Word Processing, Language Compilers and games but I'm not sure about selling those yet.

Anyway, if anyone is interested, send me a pmail and we can discuss further.  If not, it'll be on eBay by Friday.

Regards,
Ltstanfo

Put it back into the original C= case and eBay it. Set the buy-it-now price @ $2000USD. Watch TjLazer buy-it-now moments later. :-D

TjLaZer,

The case is in what I would describe as average/slightly better than average condition.  I still have the door but the upper hinge broke long ago (VERY common with this case...about the only mistake Enlite made when making this model).  I tried to make a new hinge point using epoxy but it would never last long so I just put the door away in the closet and used the case "as is".  The case is complete, including the C= information on the back.  I can take some pictures if you are interested.
