PowerVixxen Or AROS Box, PowerVixxen Or AROS Box, PowerVixxen Or AROS Box, UHgggg!

Will it fix in a standard A1200 case? If not what dimensions are we looking at? Will it be able to work standalone as I've heard?
Here I was fixing up my A1200 to sell it. I suppose I could hang onto it for a few more months. More Amiga time for me!  :-D

@ACKCONTROLS

Do you plan to answer 20 Q&A from moderator?

My questions:
1. Is there any official license from Amiga Inc on expansion board and stand alone?

2. Is this board suitable for automotive/aerospace/marines embedded applications? Is there any rugged/hardened version?

3. What about reliability? MTBF, MTTR etc
Is there any built-in watchdog / crash recovery?

4. Is there any support for embedded Linux PowerPC, BSD, QNX, etc?

5. What is the power requirement, cooling system, size & case?

6. Is it possible to use single voltage power supply (ie +12 Volt)?

7. Is there any guarantee about the products/spare parts availability? (at least ..... years)

8. Is there any FPGA on-board? What is the type of BIOS?

9. Is there any official website, address, contact information etc?

I want one for my A2000 and/or my A3000 desktop.

My A1200/060/Mediator/etc. works just fine the way it is and is to valuable to mess with.

If you can get your card made then you could change the course of computing history.
Wanna try a wonderfull strategy game with lots of handdrawn anims,
Magic Spells and Monsters, Incredible playability and lastability,
English speech, etc. Total Chaos AGA

Reading about progress on that other Amiga website, I read that ACK says that it is likely that the A3000/A4000 version will be produced first and is a higher spec board.

I want at least one of those too and might want several, as I own 3 A3000's and 3 A4000's.  In fact I am more interested in the 3k/4k model boards than the A1200 version.

Can't wait.
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)

I'd be asking more technical questions about this product first.  So far I have yet to see:

1. Clear photos of the finished product.
2. Clear photos of this finished product running benchmarks.

Guess all the vaporware announcements over the years has left me with alot of "Show me" attitude when it comes to Amiga related hardware announcements and presales requests.

I'd take 1 x A4000 version straight away.

MODERATOR  - WE NEED A POLL TO GET THE NUMBERS EASILY ACCESSIBLE.

Glad to see you're still in the game Adam.  Best of luck.  As many have said, showing a working prototype would be a REALLY good move at this point - solidify those waverers who would buy if they were sure it existed.

May I recommend total amiga magazine as a good place to publicise your demonstration?

lol nah yeah ran out for Langueville ( I think that is how it is spelt), so had to go back to the Black Douglas.

The "cow" would be turning in his grave.

As for your TAM reference. Unfortunately, the latest issue just came out... we would have to wait another three months for it to come out!
