I'm trying to get ADF files from an amiga to a laptop runnng WinUAE on windows XP.
The amiga is 500+ with kickstart 2.0 but only 1 MB.
The ADFs generally bigger than a low-density msdos floppy
and I want to avoid compressing (as the LHA prog sucks up memory).
Sounds like I can do it across a 'null-modem' cable but never done anything like that before.
Can I get one to go from serial (at the amga end) to USB (at the laptop end)?
Would that work?
Is there any software needed at either end or will the laptop 'see' the amiga automatically?
