AmikIt V1.10 and AWeb
« on: March 29, 2006, 11:48:19 AM »
Hi all,
DOwnloaded the updated version of AmiKit V1.10 all went well and it looks very neat.
But when AWeb 3.5.07 is running I cant get hold of Amiga.org
It just seems to lock up?

Has any one else got this problem?
I get Amiga.org ok with Win2000 Firefox, and my real Amiga using AWeb, so I know its not a fault of the site.
I am not at al sure if its the new fonts that are now Installed onto the AmiKit system.

AWeb on AmiKit has not been altered in any way so at the moment I am at a bit of a loss.

Any ideas?

TIA,

Mike.

Ohhh BTW using IBrowse in AmiKit to get into amiga.org

Try to restore your old AWeb configuration by MorpheuZ tool. Simply disable TrueType fonts using this tool and test AWeb with Amiga.org to see whether it works...

Good advice, yes thats done it, AWeb works fine now, so it was the TTF after all, what a bummer.

Thanks for your help.

What was the problem exactly? It seems AWeb runs fine here with TTF...

I have reapplied the AFA fonts to AmiKit and gone back into AWeb and used the Browser settings and changed the AFA  fonts to the original fonts, now AWeb runs amiga.org and other websites with no problem.

So at the moment i am not sure as to what AFA fornt is causing the actual problem.
