A500+ for spares or repair
« on: March 27, 2006, 09:15:09 PM »
I have an Amiga 500+ that I am selling for spares or repair.

I comes with Motherboard, metal shielding, and plastic case.

I don't know what's wrong with it. The power light comes on, but it won't go to the kickstart screen and won't boot.

I would prefer to only send this in the UK, but I might send it elsewhere if there is someone abroad who wants it.

Price: Make me an offer

Photos: Will post one as soon as I can get access to a computer with USB to plug the camera in.

I'm also advertising this in other places so I might remove it from here if it sells.

If you want any more info please email me: stephen.coates@gmail.com

Does it show any colours?? The amiga usually show a certain colour as a error code. If for example there is some problem with the kickstart chip, then it will show a red colour in most cases. More error codes here: http://www.nyx.net/~rdavis/AmigaHints2.html

It could possibly be the clock battery which the 500+ has on board has leaked and damaged the motherboard.

No colours.
Nothing It just sits there. The drive light occaisionally comes on, but the drive doesn't do anything. The drive does get power.
