My new hard drive from AmigaKit.com
« on: March 15, 2006, 10:30:31 PM »
Well, I just got my 80GB hard drive from AmigaKit.com and I just wanted to give a public "big thumbs up" to them!  I purchased OS3.9 at the same time and they pre-formatted my new drive for me and even put on BoingBag 1&2.  I took my old 4GB drive out and put my new 80GB drive in and it worked like a charm!  The included instructions were short and simple.  I just set a few of my prefs after boot-up and away I went.

Again, I appreciate you guys across the pond from me for supporting the Amiga and look to me as a continued customer!

By the way, I HIGHLY recommend AmigaKit.com in case you didn't realize it.
Amiga - The fun computer!

Amiga 1200HD - 32MB, 4GB CF-Card, GVP 68030-40Mhz.
Amiga 600HD

Sounds just great, saves you some trouble having to install the OS. I always found it strange that OS3.9 never came with a install disk. Isn´t it quite odd that you need an already complete amiga setup up and running to install OS3.9??

I'll second that!  I just ordered an Indivision scandoubler and PSU adapter from them.  The shipping took a mere three days from the UK to Brooklyn!  Very happy with their service.
