I don't think it is worth the trouble, as 020 "accelerators" for the A1200 with simm sockets that accept 8 MB, or even EC030 M-Tecs are dirt cheap this days -> 10-20 EUR. I rather look for the original 4 MB Expansioncard as a collectoritem. If anyone has one to sell I'd be interested. I'd take an attached B1220 too someone does not want to sell it seperately
Not really interesting, but it`s there.

It's worth the trouble if anyone know a better description. I have lots of 4 mb simms laying around and i have a 1220 in one of my two 1200. I got the 1200 for free and don't want to spend any money on it right now. I will just use it as a Game machine with WHDLoad. (wich i registerd some days ago  :-D )
But 4 Mb fast is just enough to run most games. 4 Mb more would be ultimate.

I took a look at the pictures and I`d say you are looking at 1-2 hours of work at least.
Do you really think saveing 10-20 bucks is worth the trouble plus the risk of frying the card ?
Not really interesting, but it`s there.

Look at the _4MEGA_0 pic, it's a 'simple' pin->pin wiring job.
The numbers in blue underneath the gold SIMM contacts show what pin it has to goto on the 1220 expansion header.

eg. SIMM pin1 ->Pin30,Row A
      SIMM pin2 ->Pin27,Row B etc.
On schedule, and suing
