What about the artificial island in the middle of the Atlantic? Is it good/hard?

Since you can essentially play the missions in in whatever
order you want (almost), it's difficult to know which level
you mean - but I assume you are talking about the artificial
island in the middle of the Atlantic? Yes - it's hard.
And not one of the better level designes either. No finesse
there - only play over and over, testing different weapon
choices (by that time you can choose whatever you want)
and try not to run out of ammo halfways through ...

Why do you ask? Having a nostalgia night? ;-)

Syndicate is a true Amiga classic. A bit easy, though.

Allways liked the flamethrower. Doesn´t use much ammo, and their body run around screaming covered in flames when toasted...

Bullfrog games always used to invaliate my hard-disk drive. Anyone know a patch? For Theme Park too?

re: hardboy

Hehe.  Ah, the flamethrower.

Another fun trick:
I used to run around the city with a guy and all he had was shields and the persuadatron (or whatever it is called), would get everyone and then head back to the others.

I'd get into a car and then *everyone* would.

Use one of the other guys and hit the car with a rocket launcher (I think, its been a while).  The car explodes, all the people burst out in flames while my guy just stands there.

I'm going to have to play that game again soon.  After that I'll play Settlers for a few days.

;-)

Ohh, and I like the sniper rifle  :-) And of course, the rocket launcher (or what was it calling?) I'd like to shoot down the train  :-D. Maybe I should unpack my A1K again just for old good times!

This was the first game I bought, back in 1993 IIRC.

I played this game obsessively. I now know just about every behavioural foible of the game and occasionaly play it today just to see how quickly I can complete it.

Yet, it never gets tiring :-)
