After seeing the first page of this thread, I was feeling pretty friggin old. The second page made me feel better. :-)

I'm 35. Strangely enough, I used to be even younger. This is definitely the oldest I have ever been. ;-)

@AMIGAZ - passed away? I thought he was living somewhere in tax exile?!

As for the correlation between the number of computers and age, I'm not sure about that! I have:

1 x Sinclair ZX80
2 x Sinclair ZX81 (one non-working)
4 x Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K (one non-working, plus ZX Interface One, Two, Microdrives, etc)
2 x Sinclair ZX Spectrum + 128K (one non-working)
1 x Sinclair ZX Spectrum +2A
1 x Sinclair ZX Spectrum +3
2 x Sinclair QL (one non-working, other with disk interface)
1 x Atari 520STFM (1Mb upgrade and DS drive)
1 x Atari 520STE (1Mb upgrade)
2 x Acorn BBC Master 128 (with disk drives)
2 x Acorn Archimedes A30x0 (both with hard drives and RAM upgrades)
2 x Commodore 64 (one with a 1541)
1 x Commodore 64DTV joystick
1 x ageing Dell laptop
4 x home-built PCs with varying specs
1 x Apple MacII LC
3 x Philips CD-i players (one developer machine)
1 x Gamecube
1 x Vtech kiddies computer (68000-based, a future project!)
1 x Amiga 1000 (with Insider 1Mb board)
1 x Amiga 500 (with GVP HD-8 hard drive / RAM upgrade)
1 x Amiga 600 (with RAM upgrade and 200Mb hard drive, plus a spare non-working A600 mobo)
1 x Amiga 1200 (68060 / 32Mb / 2Gb hard drive / external HD floppy / Subway USB)
1 x Amiga 3000 (68060 / 128Mb / 10Gb hard drive / Catweasel / Cybervision 64 / Ethernet)

And...

1 x very understanding girlfriend!  :-)

The PCs, the A3000 and the A1200 are the only machines set up and ready to go, the rest are in storage.

For my 50th birthday last year, a relative gave me an MP3 player.
When I told her it wasn't an appropriate gift for someone as old as me, she said "you can have a second childhood", but I had to correct her and said "I haven't finished my first childhood yet!

As for my collection of antique technology, there are about 9 or 10 PC's in the house (all working), and my 4000/040 and a 1200 with a PPc 603 card (040/25 - PPC 200).

To quote the great man (John Cleese) himself - \\"My Hovercraft is full of Eels\\".

39 in a couple of days
Real life started in '82 with an Apple II, '83 brought the first computer of my own - a 64, of course. If I count all the mobos in storage I'm well past 20 computers today...
