Genisis/Does any1 know?

Yeah ive already asked about this but ive tried everything when i put my id/passwird and dialup number it goes on about sana2 cant connect devs blah blah blah.I bought my modem off ebay its a 3com us robotics 56k and in the wizard ive put it under other and tried genric.So does anyone know whats wrong?could the modem be faulty?it powers up and everything.

its not the modem as i have had the problem with
Genisis before i cannot recall how to cure it check
the assign for Genisis in the user-startup and path
is correct or try re-installing it
