As if I didn't have enough to do, I went a little nuts this morning. I was sitting here thinking of all the things I want to do with my house to get it into at least the later part of the 20th century, if not the 21st when I had one of my strange ideas to open up another blog as a sort of note pad for my thoughts.

I know, I know, I don't update my current blog (www.segwayne.com) enough as it is, but hell, it was free, so why not? I didn't want to mishmash the SegWayne blog with all the ramblings about the house, so I thought I'd just start fresh with a new one.

There will be a test later, I expect everyone's opinions to be on my desk no later than the close of business today :-)

I don't know what century my house is, 16th century (Japanese), 19th century (Jugendstil), 12th century (crusade like), or, still in progress, 8th century (Viking-style).
As long as it has some 'desire' in it, and with intense colours and so :-)

i'm jealous, mine is only a 100 yr old sharecropper house
(2 rooms seperate kitchen). modified to axe the kitchen and add 1 bedroom, bathroom, and utility room. of the original two rooms one is the new kitchen and the other is a living room.
The only stupid question is a question not asked.

Well, my house is actually a 19th century labourers' house. It has a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom,  and the 'kitchen' is in the corridor, the 'staircase' to the bedroom is practically a ladder. So, not that much room, though it's in the family to have a talent for putting a hell of a lot stuff in a small space and keep it looking tidy.
