Bootable CDTV workbench
« on: February 16, 2006, 12:03:21 PM »
I'm trying to make a bootable wb1.3 for my cdtv.

I have the 1.3 WB disk, and burned it on a cdr. Added the cdtv.tm file, and the disk is indeed bootable on the cdtv (i.e. show the "loading cdtv screen").

However, it reads from the cd, but then stops and stays at the "loading" screen. I dont get any cli windows, and I dont have a keyboard.

Anything special I need to do for 1.3 to boot on CDTV?

Edit: It kinda makes me think that it has booted, but just doesnt switch on the WB screen.

I've also added the extended 2.30 roms, but have kept kick 1.3. Other cdtv bootable disks i've tried boot and work fine.

Thanks
Anyway is the only way

Nope... are they needed? Though they are on the extended rom...

I remember that the last time I booted a wb1.3 floppy, any inserted cd would pop up on the workbench.

you have to kill the loading screen else it will stay up forever.
There is a program to do it on the developers CD. (Cant think of the name at the moment, Im at work)
