Problems with firefox
« on: February 15, 2006, 12:58:07 PM »
i am using firefox 1.5(winxp). when i am browsing aorg, some forum pages won't show properly. instead of showing the page it instead shows the html code for the page. is anyone else having that problem or is it just me? in order to view the pages i have to use IE6.
The only stupid question is a question not asked.

I've had that problem when pressing the Back button in IE6. I've never tested it in Firefox.

Hum,
i just use the tabs anyway....i don`t usually use the backbutton.

"Firefox 1.5 implements a Back-Forward cache that retains the rendered document for the last few session history entries. This can be a lot of data...

For those who remain concerned, here's how the feature works. Firefox has a preference browser.sessionhistory.max_total_viewers which by default is set to -1. "

that is wierd i had no problems either(i upgraded to 1.5 upon release) then all of a sudden there it is.

i don't have this problem anywhere else but aorg i might try an uninstall/reinstall this weekend and see if that helps.
btw: the same thing happens when i direct it to a tab,new window, or just normally clicking a link.
