adf 2 disk
« on: February 14, 2006, 07:36:50 PM »
hello all

anyone use adf2disk or adf blitzer?

have you managed to get the games to work??

I can transfer them to disk ok but the games dont load up or have graphic glitches
I tried many games got Chase hq2 to work but when you need to use boost the game reboots but plays fine on the emulator

If i transfer demo disks to amiga floppy they work fine

any ideas why? or got any other programs that work?

Have always used Adf2Disk for converting ADf files back to Amiga floppys
Maybe the games you've converted only run on Kickstart 1x and you're using Kickstart 3x in your machine?

the old a500 games have been written to run with the 68000 cpu. a1200's 68020 have an instruction or data (don't remember) cache that some times need to set off before you boot to the workbench or game. at the boot time of the amiga press both mouse buttons and hold them until you see the early boot screen. check the button to turn the cache off and reboot.
