 :-?

Which type of error does AWeb return? It looks more like it's a configuration error than a modem problem.

there should be a html guide in the Genesis guide drawer which you can view with a browser giving a step by step guide how to get online.I use
Genesis all the time when i go online with my Amiga
but iam working away for the next few weeks and the Amiga is not very portable ? :-?

Hello Gav,

What's strange is that you use a modem and you get errors with SANA2 devices!
You don't need the SANA2 stuff if you use the modem! Perhaps this info will help you further?

When you use the Genesis wizard, don't answer questions concerning the SANA2 stuff (like connecting with an ethernet connection or so)

You should answer questions about which modem you use etc.

You also could put up your account manually in GenesisPrefs.

In that menu choose the modem. Add your modem. If it's not listed, choose Generic (or so).
Now back in the main menu choose the menu option where you can see all accounts (I forgot the name, typing this from my work :-))
You should see your already made account (by the wizard).
You can edit this one by doubleclicking.
Now you have a new window with all tabs on top. Browse through these tabs and fill in the following:

- phonenumber to call and which modem to use
- DNS adress and domain name

That's it!

If you still have problems, I'll give you a more exact explanation this evening when I'm home :-)

Which Genesis do you use? From OS3.9?

Spidey
