Amiga 3000 Power Supply
« on: February 12, 2006, 06:19:34 PM »
Hey all, I'm about to try and convert a newly aquired A3000 to a newer PSU, I've been looking at micro/flex atx ones, I wondered if there's a site about that has a diagram of the power pinouts that are labelled etc?

Also has anyone done this already, and can recommend a good psu that fits okay?

www.hardwarebook.net

AFAIK most PC ATX/microATX PSU's have PCB's the same size. It seems you need a proper ATX psu, because the A3000 needs -5vdc (microATX PSU's do not supply -5vdc).

You will also need to move some jumpers because an ATX PSU doesn't supply the 'TICK' signal.
