A1200 MoBo revisions

You must be used to my questions by now. The reason I'm asking so many is that I got back into the Amiga in February, about 10 years or so after I had stopped using my A500, and have forgotten/missed so much.
Anyway, I now have 4 A1200s (long story, don't ask), and want to get shot of at least two of them. What I want to know, however, is how the different revisions of the Mobo's differ, and therefore which to keep, and which to sell....

Basic rule :

Keep the ones built by C= and loose the one made
by Escom (Amiga-Technologies).

The Eyetech ads used to have a line about 'all A1200 expansions have been tested successfully on a rev 1d1 motherboard. Other revisions may require modifications to work properly' (or something like that). So I guess rev 1d1 motherboards are among the better ones.
Rev 1d4 and 2b have known timing problems.
And yes, as Kronos says, C= stuff is better than Escom stuff.

Both my Escom made A1200s seem to work fine with all the expansion
cards I've ever plugged in to them

My advice would be to try and store the boards you don't use, if you
have the space.

If you do get rid of any Escom boards in favour of the C= boards make
sure the C= boards have 3.1 roms fitted, otherwise swap them over from
the Escom boards.

But like I said my Escom boards have thus far been fine.
