Unless something new has developed in the past day or so, this is oooooooooooold news. Alan Redhouse is the owner/director of Eyetech, who introduced the AmigaONE to the market. The A1Lite was the working title for the board that was eventually released as the microA1-C.

From what I understand, Eyetech will no longer be producing any Amiga stuff inhouse (barring a multi-thousand unit order from some IT company seeking Linux boxes - unlikely with the A1 line due to issues with Linux), though they are the hardware license holder, so I think they sign off on whatever new stuff is being developed - the PowerVixxen and Troika board at the moment.

I'm not sure what you're talking about, I couldn't find that thread. Btw, here's something you should know :
Alan Redhouse is Eyetech Co.
Eyetech is official A1 manufacturer/distributor
AmigaWorld is the official forum for A1 & OS4.

so if there was a plan for A1 lite, I think it would definitely be a news item there on the mainpage. However I don't see any talk about this overthere at all.

edit : ahh I was late. sorry for the useless post
