Scumm
« on: February 10, 2006, 02:36:09 PM »
I really enjoy using scummvm to play my scumm games and was wondering if there was other programs that let me play PC versions of games!!!
Is there one for sierra games??

Also is there any programs I can use to make my own scumm games to work with scummvm. I have one that makes sci adventures(ags studio) on my PC but I cant play them on my Amiga.

Finally is there anywhere I can download legal scumm games as I only have a couple of them and want more! :pissed:

There's something called FreeSCI that is like ScummVM for Sierra's old graphic adventures, but I don't think there's an Amiga port. I do remember seeing a MorphOS port pop up on Aminet somewhat recently, though.

I've never heard of any user-level tools to create Scumm games.

And I also don't think any LucasArts games have been declared freely distributable, so you'll need to find somewhere to buy them. Flight of the Amazon Queen and Beneath a Steel Sky, 2 non-LucasArts games, have been released as freeware by their authors and you can get them from the ScummVM homepage.
