LHA uncompression tool wont close after done.

I recently installed OS3.5 along with both boing bags I have been installing some other files that I have used in the past that were compressed with LHA. My issue is that the window after doing the uncompression "lha x ***.lha" the window on workbench will not close once I click on the close button (top left corner) I have to reboot the Amiga befor it goes away. Why is this :-?

Wierd.  Is the prompt returning as normal after the file is extracted?

yes it says that its all done and all files exstracted but when I try to close the window it wont.

Try another version - I remember some versions did it for me, too.

have you tried it with 'break' command?
BTW, is it registered version?

I got it off of Aminet and have tried two different virsions. I was under the impression that it was freeware? I have never been asked to register it. Where should I go to ge the proper one?

I'm guessing that you are running the LHA tool after doubleclicking an icon. Try it from a Shell, and it should end without problems. Or is it still the same?

Still the same end result the extraction window pops up, it extracts all the files, says its finished and extraction was sucsessful but when I try to close the window will not close. So strange :-? I tried two different virsions LHA v1.?? and v2.2 is what I am using now. It worked fine under OS3.1

If you use LHA in the Shell, a window will not pop up, but just unarc on the given Shell window open.

Even if you run lha after clicking on an icon for decompression, the screen should be able to close. It is a weird behaviour.

Ok, Thanks I will try that tonight. But that still does not explain why its doing what it is under OS3.5 where in 3.1 it worked fine. So far everything else seems to work just as it should under OS3.5 so not a big deal I guess.
