What do you think about this Amiga for sale?
« on: February 08, 2006, 10:23:41 PM »
Just looking for feedback and opinions on this A4000T.  Does it sound good?  Good price?

Would you rather have it over a 1200 Tower?

I myself can't really say much without being Biased.  The though of having a Commodore 4000T is nice, but of course having more drive bays would be good too (custom tower Amiga Tech..

Personally if one was to deal with him, make sure it's actually what you want, because he doesn't take bull, and expects to be paid, regardless.

No, Priced to high and the seller is someone I would not trust. He uses that picture for all his so called A4000T's that he has tried to sell (seen him try to sell others). It is not the actual item. Buy with caution.

for 800 bucks you could build yourself a freakin sweet 1200 system. 4000s have always sold for stupid amounts of money especially if you add the magical toaster card. i came to this decision a while ago i had a 1200 and wanted something expandable and since i didnt use much aga stuff i went with a 3000, that way i have the z3 slots and cpu slot
Oh yeah?!?
Well your stupid bit is set,
and its read only!

If you want to use the toaster 4000 you need the A4000 to use all the features and a tower is awesome for that.(just not from him)

For your info The Toaster card by its self should not cost more then $160 on ebay and the A4000T should be around $450-500.
