Hi guys,
I supose some of you are getting tired of seeing me post questions but I just want the best out of my Amiga 4000.
Anyhow i want to be able to use more then the 4gig max that the Amiga normaly suports I have the files on my A4000 but dont understand how to make it install? Also do I have to reformat the drive or can I just add more partitions after the last one I made?
Thanks

Replace the FS file on your 3.1 "Install" floppy with the TD64 file system file, and first use it to reformat the drive and set it up, then install OS as usual from 3.1 up. This is really the easiest way........

I'm going to be doing the same soon. I'd like to put OS3.5 on.
Does the 4.2GB limit get lifted in 3.5 or 3.9?

both 3.5 and 3.9 will do it but you must have the TD64 software installed for it to work. (did not install automaticly with my 3.5)

I thought TD64 was a third party shareware program for users of 3.0 & 3.1 and that 3.5 & 3.9 had their own improved filesystem?
I suppose check4gb is a good precaution.
